The cruise brought us to Aswan. We visited the dams, saw a quarry where one of the obelisks had been created (and one damaged and left), a relocated temple, and a site of many temples that had been built on top of each other over time. (There was also shopping...)
We then flew to Abu Simbel, to see the relocated temples of Rameses II, and his queen, Nefertari. Afterwards we flew back to Cairo.
