We took a train from Venice to Florence, and first stopped on the hillside outside Florence to give us a chance to look over the city. In the following days, we walked around Florence, visiting the Duomo, and the cathedral which include the tomb of Michelangelo. We also had a guided tour of the Ufizi art gallery.
We took a bus on a day trip out through the Tuscan countryside to Pisa, and toured through the cathedral, and climbed the famous tower. On the way back from Pisa, we stopped in Vinci, birthplace of Leonardo, and visited a museum about his works and writings.
