We were fortunate to see several different pods of orcas over the days that we were there. As with other trips, we were again reminded that in nature, you see a wide range of ages of animals in a pack, including in our case a new born, and also a young orca that was constantly spy-hopping to see what was going on. We didn't encounter any orcas while in kayaks, but one did decide to swim under the Spirit Bear, you'll see a picture of it next to the inflatable tender at the back of the boat.
