Our last destination was Rome. Again, we spent a couple of days, touring around the sites - the Forum, the Coliseum, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, the Borghese gardens and museum.
We also spent a day in the Vatican, touring through the museum, the Sistine Chapel, and St Peters Basilica.
One evening, we had an exceptional dinner at one of the roof top restaurants. Another evening, we went to a local pizzeria, and the kids learned how to make Italian-style pizza from the owner (who was a transplant from Chicago...)
