Sandy, Danielle, and many friends did an "Escape from Alcatraz" swim. They took a boat out to Alcatraz island, jumped in, and swam back to Aquatic Park. Should have been about a 1.2 mile swim, but because of unusual currents, ended up being closer to 1.6 miles. Everyone was pretty tired, but very happy to have done it!
