We were last in London over 20 years ago, and that was only for a couple of days, and a very quick guided tour of some of the highlights.
This time was less structured, and staying at a hotel located between Buckingham Palace and West Minster Abbey, allowed us to walk to several places we hadn't seen the last time.
In addition, we took a day trip out to the Cotswolds and Oxford, to see some of the countryside.
