This year, Sandy gave Eric a trip to Seattle for Christmas, a city he had only visited for a day on business in the past. We had a great view apartment right on top of Pike Market, so very centrally located. Our first full day, we knew we had at least one nice day, so we headed off to Mt Rainier National Park, hiked into Comet Falls, and drove to Paradise and Sunrise Visitor centers for some great sights and photos. The remaining we toured the city. We went to the Chihuly Garden and Glass museum and saw amazing glass art. You can't get any photogenic than these displays, so we have a few pictures... We also went to the EMP Museum to see the music, science fiction/horror, and special 50th anniversary exhibit of Star Trek. After Chihuly, no pictures made the cut.) We also headed up to Fremont, a quirky town with troll, dinosaurs, Lenin, rocket, and park built around an abandoned gas works plant. Great views, great food, great trip!
