As we were heading to the Shanghai airport, we stopped at the Jin Mao Tower, to go up to it's observation deck on the 88th floor. This gave a sweeping view of Shanghai and its unique skyscrapers, such as the 101 floor World Financial Center next door that looks like a bottle opener, and thousands of apartment buildings.
The Jin Mao tower is also the location of the Grand Hyatt, and the observation level allows a view down it's 50+ floor atrium.
