From the north, we sailed back down to Tromso. We did a city excursion, touring the Northern Lights Planetarium, the Tromso mueum, and the Artic Cathedral, complete with pipe organ shaped like a Viking long-boat. While there was midnight sun, it was much lower on the horizon.

While in Tromso, some of the people aboard the cruise got stranded in the gondola of a cable car for several hours, eventually having to be brought down via ropes. Luckily, we hadn't taken that excursion! But it did cut into the tour, and we ended up having to skip the Svartisen Glacier.
