Our trip started in Cairo. It was surreal to actually be at the great pyramids and sphinx. We then toured some of the surrounding tombs and temples. The next morning was spent at the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which allowed us to just scratch the surface of the exhibits. That afternoon was spent visiting a few of Cairo's mosques and Coptic churches.
