We initially flew into Copenhagen, and boarded our ship there. First port of call was Rostock, Germany, where we took an excursion down to Berlin. After a day at sea, next port was Klaipeda, Lithuania and an excursion to Witches Hill, amoung other stops. Next was Riga, Latvia where we ventured out to Turaida and Sigulda. From there, we sailed to Helsinki, Finland, and did a tour of some of the islands, and explored Fortress Island. The next stop was St Petersburg, Russia, where we were in port for 3 days, and went on many excursions. After that was Tallinn, Estonia where we visited another palace, and the general surroundings. Our last port of call was Stockholm, Sweden. Because we had a later flight, we were able to take a bus tour through the city, before transferring out to the airport, and starting our journey home. It was a great trip for us, to a port of Europe we haven't been to, that focused more on the last 100 years of history.
