We visited our 7th and final continent - Antartica!
The trip began in Argentina, with a brief visit to Argentinian Patagonia. After that, we boarded the Scenic Eclipse, for the cruise across Drake's Passage, and then visits to several different islands, and the continent itself.
There was lots of amazing scenery and tons of penguins.
For some added drama during the cruise, it was the 2022 World Cup final between France and Argentina. Much of the staff were from Argentina, while the captain and a few other members of the crew were French. We had little communications connectivity during the match, but were getting brief text updates over ship to shore radio, that everyone was hanging on.
